From Interstate 95 South

• Take 95 South to State Offices Exit (Exit Number 23)
• Bear right off the exit, getting immediately into left lane;
• Take left and follow the road passing a Shell® gas station on your left (at 1st traffic light) and the Providence Marriott® on your right (at 2nd traffic light);
• Continue on until you come to the intersection of Smith Street (3rd traffic light);
• Take right at this light onto Smith Street and proceed up hill;
• DOA will be on your right hand side just past the State House. Parking is available in the rear of the building.

From Interstate 95 North

• Take 95 North to State Offices Exit (Exit 23)
• Exit forks, stay to the right
• At the end of the exit ramp, go straight through 1st traffic light
• At 2nd traffic light, take right onto Smith Street
• DOA will be on your right hand side just past the State House. Parking is available in the rear of the building.

Parking

The parking lot behind the Administration building becomes accessible to the public after 9:15 am and is on a first come first serve basis. Parking at coin meters (quarters only) is also available on Smith Street, State Street, Gaspee Street, or Park Street. Most of the meters have a two hour limit.
Inside the Department of Administration

The Office of Housing and Community Development (including the Housing Resources Commission) is on the third floor. You will need to enter the building and pick up a security pass on the main floor.
